Course Information

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Apollo Institute of Engineering & Technology has commenced its journey in the year 2014.The department offers Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 60 intake capacity from the year 2019. 

Mechanical engineering basically involves the study of the core concepts of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis & electricity.

Dedicated faculty members of the department are actively involved in research work in different fields of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering. The laboratories & workshops in the department have the best equipment & are maintained impeccably. Constant & careful attention to the departmental infrastructure has immensely helped in keeping it up-to-date, thus equipping the students with the necessary tools to acquire technical knowledge.

The department has a very good industry-institute interaction & organizes technical expert talks, and industrial visits for students periodically to furnish an opportunity for them to interact with working professionals from the industry. 

Students are provided with co-curricular value-added training from fifth semester to train them to get jobs in core sectors, the students are encouraged to build leadership & develop managerial qualities by the way of active participation in organizing seminars & workshops.
