Course Information

Computer Engineering (CE) is a branch of engineering that integrates several fields of computer science and electronic engineering, required to develop computer hardware & software. Computer engineers usually have training in electronic engineering (or electrical engineering), software design, and hardware-software integration instead of only software engineering or electronic engineering.

Computer engineers are involved in many hardware & software aspects of computing, from the design of individual microcontrollers, microprocessors, personal computers, and supercomputers, to circuit design. This field of engineering not only focuses on how computer systems work, but also how they integrate into the larger picture.

Vision and Goals of Computer Engineering

  • To study and innovate in the emerging era of computer science to engage broadly with the evolving needs of the society we live in by providing value-based education.
  • The program’s key mission is to contribute to nation & society by advancing the fields of computer engineering through teaching &
  • research advances, thus enhancing student awareness through immersive training, national & international participation, and experiential learning.
  • Study topics for research & provide technological solutions to relevant issues of society and industry as ventures.
  • To train skilled personnel with sustainability expertise & values.
