About The Event
To welcome the newly joined undergraduates to the world of Engineering at Apollo Institute of Engineering and Technology, First Year Engineering Student Orientation Programme 2022 was conducted on 26th, September 2022 in the seminar Hall at 9:15 am. The program aimed at introducing students to the academic and non-academic aspects of the course.
The program commenced with the college prayer followed by the lamp-lighting ceremony, which symbolizes the guiding spirit of truth, knowledge, and understanding. All the dignitaries along with a student lighted the lamps.
Principal, Dr. Shital Shah addressed the gathering with the achievements and milestones that AIET has achieved with constant pursuit of excellence.
Then, the students were addressed by First Year Coordinator, HOD-Science & Huminities – Mohd. Javed Khan welcomed all the students and introduced them to their teaching and non-teaching staff. He gave an all-inclusive presentation to impart necessary information about the academic design of the First Year. He focused on the exam pattern, assessment and evaluation criteria, co- curricular and extracurricular activities, and facilities provided to the students. He also requested them to understand and abide by the Institutional rules and norms. The students were also briefed about the required skills to develop competencies in accordance to the current job market. He guided students to focus on their overall development in technical skills, non-technical skills, and aptitude skills in addition to the academics. The program ended on an enthusiastic note with a vote of thanks proposed by HOD-Mohd.Javed Khan.
