The Department of Civil Engineering, Apollo Institute of Engineering and Technology has commenced its journey in the year 2014. The department offers Diploma in Civil Engineering with 60 intake capacity from the year 2019. Dedicated faculty members of the department are actively involved in research work in different fields of Civil engineering.
Civil engineering is traditionally broken into several sub-disciplines including Surveying, Town Planning, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environment Engineering, and Construction Technology & Management. This includes design, construction and maintenance of residential & commercial buildings, industrial structures, bridges, highways, tunnels, dams, airports, drainage systems and traffic control systems, etc.
